Our windmill weathervane is weather resitant. It is a symbol of our farm. Resistant of all attempts to divide our community; resistant against food vulnerability, and resistant against health disparity.

The Neighborhood Herald
Mabel transcends race, religion, age, and ability. Mabel has started many stories of years gone by. Many people walk by on their daily journies to give and receive greetings. Many benefit from Mabel's gift of good memories.
We work not as an island; we work in partnership with many allies. We receive donations from private individuals and gifts of time, labor, and in-kind resources.
The Blight in Pittsburgh is Overwhel
Living in traditionally black neighborhoods is difficult. We have been neglected for many years and have endured. Sometimes you are left feeling helpless, hopeless, and less than. The blight seems insurmountable.
Black & White Co-Experience Gentrification… a word often associated with strife. In Manchester, there is a stronger group of neighbors that want to listen, understand, and commune with each other. Our farm - - - builds community and is tearing down Blight.
There are many people, groups, and entities that are waiting and willing to help your [our] mission. Look closely, we are never alone. Many want to help.
You Bring Me Home
Feeling Hopeful New life springs forth. Just when you're ready to throw your hands up! A child arrives, full of energy, wholesome, and wonder. And it gives me hope.
