Mabel transcends race, religion, age, and ability. Mabel has started many stories of years gone by. Many people walk by on their daily journies to give and receive greetings. Many benefit from Mabel's gift of good memories.

Living in traditionally black neighborhoods is difficult. We have been neglected for many years and have endured. Sometimes you are left feeling helpless, hopeless, and less than. The blight seems insurmountable.
